A Vintage Thai Art Chalk Ware Nude Lady Statue – No major damage, some nicks throughout the body which could be repaired easily, no deep cracks or gouges.

Very nice 1930’s to 1940’s Thai Art chalk ware nude lady statue in state of undress.

I suspect this piece was made as a tourist item for the American, British and Australian soldiers who were stationed in South East Asia during the second world war.

Stamped “Thai Art 27” around the base.

Very nice detail, the artisan who crafted these pieces had a good eye for detail, beautiful figure, lovely art work.
